Bio-gas
Grameen Shakti is the Grameen energy company working with solar energy and biogas conversion tanks. Biogas is created from animal manure to supply homes with gas lines. Here 1,000 chickens create enough fuel to feed 8 gas lines. This one will pay for itself in less than 2 years, not only save on buying gas, but bringing in income on gas being sold to surrounding homes and tea stalls. |
